Impossible Astronaut

Harry Harrison Rust seem to be evolving more into the Desert Rock sound. Don’t get me wrong, they’re still heavy as a imploding star. It’s just they now remind me of Mother Mars with more testicular fortitude. The floaty psychedelic intro of ‘Cursed’ that moves into a Sabbathian romp before return to heavy psych bliss definitely had the right feel for those high times. Personally, I’m digging this new direction. Favorite track: Cursed.

Ethan Pazno Rust deservers more attention than what they get. This album is short but every song on it is absolutely great and has such a great stoner metal sound to it. Really hope we get to see more from Rust in the future. Favorite track: Cursed.

Zevul Rev Hailing from Russia, Rust brings a great, riff-filled, melodic EP that is a must for any Doom lover. Favorite track: Don't Touch.
